Sailor adjusting living on land again...
Had the best summer ever... just dreaming of the sea actually became reality; I spent almost hundred days at the sea (didn't know Finnish summer even is that long!)
Art wise, not very productive as I have maybe two or three sketches from the whole summer, but I did snatch photos whenever I had the chance. (And one 18th century embroidery project - garters - which raised hilarity amongst the pretty bawty crew :P)
Would you like to see more of those photos? I mostly photographed sailing ships and military vessels,
there's some seascapes and sunsets as well. Unfortunately there isn't any pics of our everyday work, as I'd always be quite busy
My career as a sailor begins!
This summer, I will be working at the sea, aboard water buses and charter cruises as a deck hand!
Wish I'll have time to take pictures... and not to fall in the sea while struggling with the ropes.
Or, to start crying if old navy captains yell at me. Or get arrogant with wearing a uniform.
Naah, it's all good.
You could say, I'm quite happy at the moment :)
